In Loving Memory of Miranda — A Life That Taught, Served, and Shined
Once upon a time, there was an amazing little girl who grew into a remarkable woman , a teacher, a servant‑leader, and a soul who believed deeply in learning by doing. Miranda carried credentials in Special Education (SPED), 4‑H/FFA programming, ESOL guidance, community service, religious instruction, and countless other areas where she poured her heart into helping others grow.
As she raised her daughter and shared the lessons she had gathered across a lifetime of service, she continued to care for others with quiet strength and unwavering faith. Then came COVID‑19… and she left this side of reality far too soon, in October 2021.
Her passing changed the trajectory she had envisioned for her daughter. In the months that followed, her farm, her belongings, and the teaching tools she had lovingly collected were liquidated; leaving her then 6 year old without the support, stability, and heritage her mother had worked so hard to build.
And then came a question that reshaped everything:
“Who will teach me now that Mommy’s gone?”
From that question, and a grandmother’s promise, MirandaJ.club was born.
Why MirandaJ.club Exists
MirandaJ.club is a living legacy, created to carry forward the light Miranda shared so freely. It is a space where her daughter, and all children who need guidance, can continue to learn the life skills, values, and hands‑on wisdom that defined her mother’s way of teaching.
Here, families will find:
- Life skill lessons
- Nurturing Nature activities
- Community support
- Faith‑rooted encouragement
- Practical tools for hope, healing, and purpose
Everything we build here honors the way Miranda lived — with generosity, curiosity, and a heart for service.
A Teacher Who Served With Her Whole Heart
Miranda was a faithful servant who gave her time, talents, and resources without hesitation. She believed in leaving the world better than she found it. Our family’s focus has always been on life skill development, learning by doing, and building confidence through hands‑on experiences. She was a co-creator of the original content of this website, promotional merch ideas, and social media framework.
Many of the projects and programs featured here are the same ones she:
- Grew up participating in
- Taught as a young adult
- Adapted for her own daughter
- Used on her small family farm to teach responsibility, compassion, and stewardship
Her legacy lives in every seed planted, every skill practiced, every moment of curiosity encouraged.
Nurturing Nature: Continuing Her Work
Miranda loved teaching through nature, soil, seeds, animals, and the rhythms of the earth. To honor that, this space includes:
- Seed Snails and other child‑friendly growing projects
- Nurturing Nature lessons, like Why Gardening is Beneficial, that connect children to the world around them
- Hands‑on activities that build confidence, patience, and responsibility
These projects echo the way she taught: gently, creatively, and with joy.
From Plot to Plate©: Growing, Cooking, and Preserving With Purpose
To continue her legacy of self‑sufficiency and home‑based learning, we connect her teachings to our YouTube channels:
#I.Can.You.Can.Too©
A channel dedicated to building confidence through simple, achievable skills — the kind Miranda taught every day.
#Harvest.and.Health©
A “plot to plate” journey that includes:
- Home gardening
- Cooking from scratch
- Food preservation
- Seasonal living
- Wellness through nourishment
These channels extend Miranda’s voice into the world, offering families the tools she would have shared with her daughter as she grew.
A Legacy of Love, Learning, and Light
Miranda’s story did not end with her passing. It continues through Bennie, through you, and through every family who learns something meaningful here. MirandaJ.club stands as a testament to a mother’s love, a daughter’s longing, and a grandmother’s promise to keep the light burning.
Losing a young, vibrant family member is a journey that reshapes every part of life, and as we continue sharing Miranda’s story, we also honor the ongoing work of learning how to live, love, and grow through a grief that never truly ends, while finding joy in the memories shared.
Walking With Grief: Tools for Coping, Accepting, and Moving Through a Loss That Never Ends
Grief is not something we “get over.” It is something we learn to carry. When someone as precious as Miranda leaves this side of reality, the grief becomes a companion, changing shape over time but never disappearing.
At Purposeful Concepts and within the heart of MirandaJ.club, we honor grief as a natural, sacred part of love.
This space offers gentle tools and recommendations for anyone navigating a loss that reshapes their world.
Understanding Grief as a Lifelong Journey
Grief is not linear. It moves like untamed water in waves, some soft, some overwhelming.
Our emotions can feel like that, moving from a state of resistance (fighting the “ebb”) to one of mindful observation and acceptance:
- Missing what was
- Mourning what could have been
- Protecting what remains
- Learning to live with a new kind of love
There is no “right way” to grieve. There is only your way, and it deserves compassion.
Tools for Coping Day by Day
These practices can help anchor the heart when emotions feel heavy or unpredictable:
- Breathing rituals to calm the nervous system
- Journaling prompts to release what cannot be spoken
- Memory moments—lighting a candle, saying their name, sharing a story
- Nature grounding: walking, gardening, touching soil, tending plants
- Creative expression through art, music, or crafting
- Faith practices such as prayer, scripture reflection, or meditation
Small, steady practices help the heart find rhythm again.
Accepting What Cannot Be Changed
Acceptance does not mean approval. It means acknowledging the reality of loss while still choosing to live, love, and grow.
Acceptance often looks like:
- Allowing yourself to feel without judgment
- Recognizing that grief and joy can coexist
- Understanding that healing does not erase love
- Giving yourself permission to move forward at your own pace
Acceptance is not a destination, it is a posture of grace toward yourself.
Moving Through a Grief That Never Ends
Some grief becomes part of your identity. It shapes how you love, how you parent and grandparent, how you serve, and how you see the world. Moving through lifelong grief involves:
- Building new routines that honor the person you lost
- Creating legacy projects, like MirandaJ.club
- Teaching the next generation the values they embodied
- Finding community with others who understand
- Allowing joy to return without guilt
Grief may stay, but so does love – and love is always stronger!
Supporting Children Through Grief
For children, grief requires gentle, consistent support:
- Predictable routines
- Honest, age‑appropriate conversations
- Memory‑keeping activities
- Opportunities to ask questions
- Reassurance that they are safe, loved, and not alone
Children grieve in cycles as they grow. This page, and our legacy work, gives her daughter a place to return to whenever she needs her mother’s light.
When to Seek Additional Support
Grief becomes easier to carry when shared. Families may benefit from:
- Support groups
- Faith‑based counseling
- School‑based emotional support
- Community grief programs
- Trusted mentors or elders
Reaching out is not a sign of weakness – it is an act of courage.
A Space for Healing, Hope, and Continuing Bonds
MirandaJ.club is more than a memorial. It is a place where grief and growth can coexist. A place where her daughter, and every child or family walking through loss, can learn, create, and heal.
Here, we honor:
- The love that remains
- The lessons she taught
- The legacy she left
- The future she inspired
Grief may change us, but it does not diminish the light of the one we lost. Through #PurposefulLearning and #EducationMatters, we carry Miranda’s teachings forward—one seed, one skill, one story at a time. Peace be with you.
