In Rochester, N.Y., Pathways to Peace’s mission has remained the same: to reduce violence, help our community assess needed resources, and build health and lasting relationships with our community members. Purposeful Concepts is honored to be a partner in this effort!
From April 7, 2026, to April 17, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Legacy Drama House (112 Webster Ave, Rochester, NY 14609) – Pathways to Peace is introducing Push the Plug (A 7-Series Training Program: Finding your Power Skills). Push the Plug is a seven-course training program that engages the community through a series of 7 one-hour classes covering Anger Management, the Dangers of Social Media, Parenting Skills, Conflict Resolution, Coping Skills, Computer Skills, and Financial Literacy.
Participants ages 16 and up will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis after filling out the required application. Click Push to Plug (A 7-Series Training Program: Finding your Power Skills) – Fill out form.
Up to 70 participants can be selected. Participants will receive a binder and journal to take notes and gather information, a free Regional Transit Service (RTS) bus pass after each session (if needed), and free food. Participants must attend 6 out of 7 sessions to receive a $400 completion stipend at graduation. Participants who meet the graduation requirements will also participate in a graduation ceremony scheduled for May 29, 2026.
